Port of Entry
Turtle Cove Marina is an official port of entry for the Turks and Caicos Islands. We can arrange customs clearance as a service. As of Feb 1st, 2023, the owner or master of a pleasure craft navigating to or from the Turks and Caicos Islands must use SailClear to submit information about their voyage to Customs and Immigration at least 24 hours before arrival or departure. Once approved, please send us a copy via email.
When approaching Turtle Cove Marina, we recommend you call us at +1 649-941-3781 or hail us on VHF Channel 16 and wait at Sellers Cut (21° 47.901'N72 ° 12.468'W). You must be flying the yellow "Q" flag when approaching. Our complimentary guided boat service will take you into the marina.
Only the vessel's captain may step on shore to arrange clearance upon arrival. Nobody may step off the vessel until clearance is granted. On-site Customs and Immigration will clear both the crew and goods on board.
Paperwork you will need to complete on arrival includes:
Customs Temporary Importation Declaration [C108]. This document is the official declaration of your stay but is only valid for 7 days.
Subsequently, stays more than 7 days require a cruising permit.
Customs Declaration for every crew member.
Immigration Form- that must be completed by every crew member.
Customs Office hours are 08:00 a.m to 4:30 p.m, Monday through Thursday and 08:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m on Friday.
Documents for Yourself
Visitors are required to report to Immigration to obtain a Visa for your stay. *Visas are not required for citizens of the US, Canada, EU, and the UK.
All visitors are required to have passports that is valid for at least 6 months
North American citizens must present proof of citizenship, passport, and an ID.
Departure
All visitors are required to submit an Application for Clearance for Departure [C124] for clearance to their next port of call which will cost $50 USD.
